Dive Training at MRC

Competance in diving is a pre-requsite for MRC support staff in research programmes. In the past the dive training was done by enrolling MRC staff in dive schools programmes. For the first time, in November 2008, MRC has conducted in-house dive training for the new recruits. THe trainig was given by an MRC staff, dive instructor, Mr. Yoosuf Riluwan. A total of five staff were trained to PADI open water certification level.
